After breakfast proceed to Omkareshwara – one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. It is located on the bank of the Narmada River. Enroute visit Maheshwar, a city having a great impact on the prominent ruling dynasty Holkar's. Queen Ahilya Bai Holkar who ruled during the Holkar dynasty was a religious lady. Under her rule, a lot of temples and holy ghats were developed in the Malwa region of Central India and Maheshwar was the capital of the kingdom. Visit the famous Ahilya Bai Fort and Palace, Akhileshwar Temple (inside the fort complex), and Narmada Ghat. If time permits one can do boating at Narmada Ghat on a direct payment basis. Later drive to Omkareshwara. On arrival check into the hotel and thereafter do darshan. Overnight stay will be at Omkareshwar

Narmada River
The Dwarkadhish temple, also known as the Jagat Mandir and occasionally spelled Dwarakadheesh, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Krishna, who is worshiped here by the name Dwarkadhish, or 'King of Dwarka'.Open All Week, Visiting time 5:00 Am - 1 Pm, 5:00 Pm - 9:30 Pm. Fees: No Charge.Temple is on the left bank of the Narmada. The walls of this temple have sacred inscriptions written on them which are dated to 1063 AD. Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar gave patronage to this temple and is a protected monument of ASI. Thereafter do Narmada Parikrama, The Circular path around omkar hill is a parikrama path, its approximate 7 KM has many ups and downs stairs.on this parikrama path there are several temples and ashrams on the way. The confluence of two rivers is also on the path. Boat ride in Narmada River. (Direct payment basis) later transfer to Maheshwar On arrival check into hotel. Overnight stay will be at Maheshwar.
